Product Settings

Go to Admin > Settings > Products

There are product settings for Simple Products, and there are product settings for Custom Products. Although the settings appear to be the same, they will control settings for the product types independantly. Most of these settings control what happens when a new product is created, but some of the settings will control existing products such as default product image.

Simple Product Settings

About Products
Set the Default Category and set the product type display name.

Product Names
Products can have more than one name type. You can specify the default and active names for products

Product Images
Set your default product images. You can have a placeholder image for new products added to your store.

Product Fields
Specify which product fields are active by default when you create a new product. You can adjust the active fields per product.

Product Attributes
Specify which product attributes are active by default when you create a new product. You can adjust the active attributes per product.

Product Pricing Options
Specify the default selling price and cost of goods for new products.

Product Stock Options
Specify the default stock options and settings for new products added to your dispensary

Default Product Suppliers
Set your default suppliers for new products you add to your store. You can adjust the default supplier(s) per product.

Variant List
Add or remove product variants
