Display Name
You can change the name of the Dosage Mode, which will be displayed to all users instead of “Exact Quantity”. Other possible names are “Total Quantity” or “Percentage”
Calculation Type
This is informing you of the dosage calculation type
Conversion Type
On all formula builders there are 2 input options, a “Raw Qty.” and a “Enter Qty” Users may want to convert from a raw qty to the ingredient type quantity using the ingredient Ratio or a fixed ratio. Example, a granule has a ratio of 5:1. This means that 5g of raw is equal to 1g of granule. Users can enter 5 into the Raw Qty Input box, and a 1 will automatically be entered into the Enter Qty Box.

Default Value for Calculation
When calculating the Total Quantity Received, you can specify which value to use for the calculation, the Raw Qty or the Enter Qty. It is less important on Exact Quantity mode but important on Daily Dosage and Per Container Dosage Mode.
Days Option

The Days Options provides a box under “Formula Options” which lets user input the number of days the formula is for. This input box will always match the Dosage Inputs value. Changing the value in this box will update the dosage inputs value and a change in the dosage inputs value will automatically update this field on the formula builder.

Default Days
Enter the value that will show by default when building a new formula. If you also have a default days in dosage inputs field, this value will be overwritten by the dosage inputs default day value
Preset Day Options

Allow user to enter any value
If you want to let users enter any value into this field choose “YES”. If you want to restrict the number of containers set it to “NO”. If set to NO, please ensure you have preset container options otherwise they will be restricted to the default value only.
Preset Container Options
Provide options for this fields value in a drop down.
Weight / Volume Options

IMPORTANT NOTE: IF YOUR FORMULA ALLOWS MULTIPLE MEASUREMENT TYPES, THIS FIELD WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE AS WE CANNOT ADJUST FORMULAS WITH MULTIPLE MEASUREMENT TYPES IN THE SAME FORMULA. THIS IS DIFFERENT FROM ALLOWING A CHOICE BETWEEN MULTIPLE MEASUREMENT TYPES BECAUSE IN THIS CASE THERE IS STILL ONLY ONE MEASUREMENT TYPE PER FORMULA.

Column Options

When adding ingredients to a formula there are various columns of data that can be shown to the user about the ingredients being added. This section lets you control which columns are allowed to be enabled by users. The settings here will also act as a default for new users who register for an account. Users can further refine these settings by turning columns ON/OFF and Re-Ordering them.
Add New Column
Click on “Add New” and you can enable new columns not shown in this table.
Edit Column Name
Click on “Edit” to adjust the column display Name which appears on the Formula Builder.
Delete Column
Click on the delete button next to the column you want to delete. Please note that if you delete the column it will not be available to any user. If you make a mistake you can add it back by clicking on “Add New”
Required Column
You can force a column to be required, which will not allow a practitioner to turn the column OFF.
Status of Column
Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit. Ut elit tellus, luctus nec ullamcorper mattis, pulvinar dapibus leo.
Order of Column
Set the Order of the Column that will appear for new users. The lower the number the more to the left side it will appear. The higher the number the more to the right it will appear horizontally.
Width of Column
Some Columns may require more width, such as Ingredient Names. This field lets you specify the width of the column in pixels. If left blank, the system will automatically adjust the column widths to fit 100% of the page. (auto adjust)
Dosage Options
Dosage Inputs

There are 3 sections for the Dosage Section of the Formula Builder.
- Dosage Inputs
- Dosage Calculation
- Dosage Instructions Text Box
For each of these sections you can change the status by turning them ON/OFF, make them required and change the order. If you click on Edit, you can change the Display Name of these fields. For Write your own instructions you can limit the number of characters allowed to be entered into the input box on the formula builder.

The dosage inputs are a pre-defined string of drop downs and input values that a user can select to determine the dosage amount of the formula. If you do not want to show this on the formula builder you can turn it OFF.
There are 4 required values
- Dosage Amount (Number)
- Dosage Measurement (Example ‘grams’ or its abbreviation ‘g’)
- Doses Per Day
- Number of Days (numerical value)
Options Information
- Static Text ( example “Take” or “times per day” to help make the required values make sense.
- Text/Number” Inputs (example “away from food” or before means”)

Status
You can change the status of a measurement type. If set to OFF it will not appear on the formula builder as an option. You can also delete it if it is no longer used.
