If your teaching clinic ran Dispensary Tree, you already wrote formulas in it under supervision. Nothing has to be relearned; you are simply the practitioner now rather than the student.

Ordering through a dispensary means working from their approved list. Running your own means the list is yours — your herbs, your preparations, your names for them.

Running a dispensary is real work, and a practitioner who is happy ordering from one should carry on. This is worth a look when you are already compounding yourself, when your dispensary cannot carry what you prescribe, or when the paperwork around ordering has started to cost you more than it saves.
