The terms in brief
What you should know before you apply.
What is the commission?
15% of every subscription payment made by customers you refer, for as long as they stay subscribed. The rate that applies to you is shown in your affiliate dashboard.
How long does a referral count?
30 days. If someone clicks your link and buys a paid subscription within 30 days, the referral is yours. If they clear their cookies first, it cannot be tracked.
When and how am I paid?
Monthly, in US dollars, for the previous month's commission, by PayPal or cheque. We may ask for a tax form, such as a W-9 or W-8BEN, before the first payment.
What if a customer I referred asks for a refund?
If a referred customer cancels, gets a refund or files a chargeback within the refund period, the commission on that sale is reversed.
Do I have to say that I am an affiliate?
Yes. Disclose the relationship clearly wherever you use your links, as FTC guidelines require. A line such as "This post contains affiliate links" is enough.
What is not allowed?
You cannot refer yourself, stuff cookies or inflate clicks, and paid advertising is restricted. The full rules are in the program terms.
