Patient Settings

There is only 1 patient setting.  This setting controls whether a email notification is sent to the patient by default when a new patient profile is created.  The email invites the patient to register for a patient account so they can access the Patient Portal.  

You can set this option to ON or OFF by default.  If its ON, it will be ON when you create a new patient profile.  If it is OFF, it will be off by default when you create a new patient profile.   

You can manually change it to ON or OFF when creating a patient profile.   This setting just tells the system to have it ON or OFF by default.
